UAB Department of Dermatology is currently seeking applicants for a clinical research fellowship position to begin July 2014. This opportunity is a one-year fellowship under the direction of Dr. Boni Elewski. The fellow will gain valuable experience in preparing IRB submissions and conducting clinical research. Participation in dermatology resident lectures, grand rounds, and conferences is encouraged. Also, after appropriate credentialing, the fellows will have devoted clinic time with an attending physician to provide exposure to dermatologic conditions. Fellows are salaried with benefits.
Applicants must have completed MD and internship prior to start date. Applicant must also have completed AND received scores for USMLE STEP III prior to July 1, 2014.
Interested applicants should email ERAS-style application including CV, transcripts, brief letter of intent (1-2 paragraphs), and at least two letters of recommendation (previous ERAS dermatology LORs are acceptable) to [email protected].
