64%... who knows. Are you a douche bag? Are you likeable? How'd the interviews go? Did the people who get ranked higher than you rank other places higher? They say the magic number is 7... you're better of than if you had 3. Make everyone count!

Rutgers hasn't sent out invites yet.

And I was told by the administrative person of Ohio state last week that if we don't hear it by the end of today (last day of October), then I should assume that I didn't get invited for OSU interview.

I am a foreign trained dentist have applied to Pedo via pass and got an i/v too.
If i get into residency program,ld i be able to practice or still be needing DDS or DMD?

You would still need to do a DDS/DMD international program after the residency (3 years I think if that still stands). Had international students in my pedo residency that went to DDS program after completing residency.

You could make a deal with a school that you would teach - sometimes I have heard that they will pay you as faculty while you are earning DDS/DMD degree. I don't know if they still do this. Either way you aren't going into practice out of residency. Texas had a rural program and Minnesota may be the exceptions.

We have had some people complete a residency and then go on to the two year advanced standing program. Entirely depends on the school, but as someone already mentioned, the school may pay you to teach some classes. In addition, you will probably be able to audit quite a few classes.

A friend of mine got an email yesterday saying interviews for LMC Maine are cancelled and the program is shutting down. Anyone else hear the same?
 
Has anyone heard from Children's Hospital Boston or Maimonides Medical Center?
 
If I haven't heard back for any interviews yet, is it pretty safe to say that I won't be getting in this year? Trying to see if I should work on a plan B

It'll be good and fair so you're up to the current standards practiced in the USA. You should not get any special treatment.

I'd say to not give up just yet because you'll never know what's gonna happen. There is also the option to post match but it's always good to think of a plan B in case things don't go the way you planned.

Dang, lutheran has soo many spots. Pediatric residencies have been mushrooming all over the place. Perhaps it would be more profitable for me to start my own residency program. Could probably charge 40k/yr in tuition and I'd still get like 1,000 applications lol. Guess I should pick the one with the best CREDIT score lol.:rofl:

Bit of a tight situation - I arrived in Chicago for Lurie interview... but my bag didn't! Airline thinks it'll come today, but for now I'm here without the document that details the social/interview.
