Hi all-

Freaking out about usajobs/ bop website. I have attended three graduate programs (two ma, one PhD). I was able to scan my transcripts into the usajobs site because it allows you to upload multiple pages. However, once I move to the bop part of the process, it will only let me transfer one transcript from the usajobs section and I can't upload the transcripts as one file because it is too big and I'm getting an error message. I contacted HR and they are talking about using the "facsimile" through the website, which I believe is the usajobs transfer (which won't work). Anyone have these issues?

Hey. I received word from the person who received the interview from MercyFirst. They indicated that it wasn't from that number. Rather, the call was from Lynbrook at a (516) 284-XXXX phone number. Hope this helps!

What is the significance between personalized and mass email invites? My assumption is that if it's mass you're less likely to get an invite at a future time (?)

Personalized may feel more promising but I don't think it signifies anything other than how a site handles their email sends in the system they've developed over years. You can make yourself crazy trying to read meaning into things like this so it is probably best to practice radical acceptance and mindful distractions of something stress-reducing or useful in getting the dissertation done.

Hey! I went back and looked at the email that person sent me. In regards to tracks, this is what they said: "will email in Dec to say what track you're interviewing for. I applied to 3 adult tracks but can't remember what they are." I've added this statement to the main page.

I don't know... I just post what people send me. I also didn't apply to that site, so it's hard for me to know beyond what others send me. I would be happy to send a question to that person directly, if you'd like. Otherwise, I really don't know what to do/say.

No worries, I was just curious. I've heard that some of the directory profiles have outdated or incorrect info and they may have just decided that email would save time. Thanks for all your hard work!

I wasn't the person who posted in this thread, but I was invited to UCSD today and the coordinator said that she prefers to call but was going out of town next week and wanted to get out the invites quickly. So it is a deviation from their norm.

FWIW, I applied to behavioral medicine tracks, and none of my friends who applied to other tracks have been notified yet.

I see that UCSD/VA is already up here. But I wanted to say that I received an interview and I applied to tracks:
112530: VA General Bmed/UCSD Burn Center and Cancer
112536: VA Beh Medicine: Pain and weight control/va behavioral med primary care.

So, from your experience (thus far) and/or from last year, how likely is one to receive an interview from a place that is already in this list but that hasn't sent out rejection notifications.

I just want to know if I should pretty much rule out the ones that are on here from whom I haven't heard one way or the other.

I should also add that I was rejected by Spring Grove Hospital (134911) on 11/9 for having too few assessment hours. I couldn't tell if it was a personal or mass email.
