Invitation to pre-medical students in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia Area!!!!
The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is hosting the 2015 Regional Leadership Conference at Georgetown University School of Medicine (GUSOM) in Washington, DC on Saturday October 17th, 9am-3pm. SNMA is committed to promoting the success of current and future underrepresented minority students in medicine through service, scholarship, and leadership. This year’s conference theme is “Diversifying Leadership in Medicine and Beyond”. The event caters to current and future underrepresented minority medical students allowing them to socialize with similar students from other institutions while interacting with Georgetown University School of Medicine faculty and distinguished guest speakers. The regional leadership conference will feature interactive small group sessions and educational talks designed to frame leadership in medicine in both clinical and non-clinical domains.
This is an exciting opportunity for students to network with physicians, fellows, researchers, and medical students, as they build their interests in the field of medicine. The registration fee is only $6 and INCLUDES BREAKFAST AND LUNCH!
