I have a 3.0 Science GPA (overall 3.33) from a good university. Have plenty of shadowing/experience. Do I have a shot at any cali schools??

Would it be worth it to take some extra courses at a local college to boost up the science GPA? If so, should I list those courses as "In Progress?" Or would that just hold up my application hence making it more appropriate to apply for the next cycle?

The one caveat is that I have a Masters in Science so I'm not sure if taking undergrad science courses would look good to med schools? Thoughts??

Is it even considered late to apply at this point in the game??

A bit late, but without the MCAT, it's a moot point.

Did you calculate your graduate science classes into your overall science GPA? (If you took any that is.)

P.S. - I just wanted to write bigger than you. :D

yeah i did calculate my graduate GPA into it as well. I have a 29 mcat.

its not too late to apply to DO schools.

You have slim chances (slimmer by each day) of getting into MD schools.

I'd suggest DO schools.

MD won't happen in California with those scores.

yea I'm talking about DO schools.

Do I have a shot at any MD schools outside of California?
