EDIT: what was your GPA in the post-bac classes at Penn, and how many classes????? That might be your salvation for MD schools.

With those GPAs, all MD schools are reaches. Save your money and buy you mom a nice dinner for Mother's Day. Your fine for any DO school.

Its not a formal post-bacc. I was an employee first, and I applied as a post-bacc after. We are allowed to take 2 classes (spring, summer, fall) with tuition benefits as full time staff. Since I am applying this June for the 2016 cycle, I'll only have grades from 2 classes in by then.. Hoping for 2 A's, possibly one A and one B. But yeah, I'm down for DO. Thanks for advice.

I'm kind of in a tough spot. My last semester I got 2 C's out of the 3 I ever got in undergrad.

I got a C in orgo 1, but an A in orgo 2. So I can explain this along with my 12 in BS.

Last semeseter I took:

Physics 2 C
cellular Biology C
Immunology B
Research methods cog psych B
Stress, coping, well being B

Physics 2 at Carnegie Mellon infamously tough, most pre-meds take it at community. I wanted to take it for the challenge, got an A on the first test, then the semester just got overwhelming. I also got shafted into a tough schedule my last semester because of study abroad. It was literally my poorest performance academically, which is the worst possible scenario... Was actually going through a break-up which was a stressor, but is that even worth mentioning should this come up...? Any other ideas of how to explain this last semester??

Spring senior year... *wincing*
