You do have a chance for a DO acceptance. There are a few DO schools where the median MCAT is 24 to 26. Applying to new schools would also be a good strategy since the applicant pool is lower for the first year or two they admit new students. Consider schools such as ACOM, ATSU-SOM, CUSOM, LUCOM, LMU-DCOM, MU-COM, RVU-COM, UP-KYCOM, VCOM ( all 3 schools ), WCU-COM. Burrell in New Mexico may be opening in 2016 and there are other potential schools in Arkansas and Utah.
