Hi SDN!

I just finished my junior year and was wondering if it would be worth it to take extra classes during my senior year to boost my current cumulative GPA of 3.75. If I take a full courseload during my senior year and get 4.0's both semesters, I could graduate with a 3.8. If I take a less challenging courseload, I could easily get a 3.78.

Is it worth it? Does having a 3.8 over a 3.7 something make that much of a difference in applications? Will that 0.02 difference in my cumulative GPA really matter?

Also, my science GPA currently at 3.85 is higher than my cumulative. Will that make up for not having a 3.8+ cumulative GPA?

Thanks for the help!

No. If you want to take a gap year and wait till next year to apply sure go ahead but don't do it because you want to raise your gpa from 3.75 to 3.78
