3rd year elective

My school requires 3rd year electives and the problem is that most hospitals (atleast in the northeast) will not take any 3rd year students. Was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to find a 3rd year elective? Interested in doing a rotation in anesthesiology rotation if anyone knew of any specifics.
