I know this has been discussed before but I am hoping for updated and more specific recommendations/ reviews of programs/ hospitals by current students!

I'm an IMG (caribbean) and got in the 230s on my step 1 and am preparing to set up my 4th year electives but most top PEDS programs only accept US/Canadian students. Any suggestions on strong programs that consider IMGs? Any programs to avoid at all costs (and why?)

So far, I know many NYC community hospitals and Miami childrens are happy to take 4th years and CHOP (PA) and Yale (CT) take a few IMGs (possible but tough odds). Hopkins, Boston Childrens, Dallas and UCLA have all said not at this time.

Thank you so much for any input you can offer, I will also update this post with info I find as I go.
