But grrr, it was so ingenious! Getting MJ to redirect himself on the night, having him kill himself, and leaving everyone else to know that he was supposed to redirect WZ. I thought it would have bought her 1-2 days. Then you guys idiot savanted it :(

And WZ - I was actually against converting you. I thought it wasn't the best move, but you did well for yourself ( against converting not you as a player, just your situation in the game)
It was quite literally the only thing i could do that night that gave me even a chance of survival once he decided to redirect me.

Good! And i wouldnt be offended if you were against my conversion as a player either, because historically i have not done well with it.

I just took a calculated gambit at the end that we had enough turns to clear which of the people was a wolf, and she was the least important of the people it could have been, hence my question for the little bastards worked really well...
Ok, the little dudes... did you control them? I'm confused, I got them once, but you seemed to have them often?

I still hate all of you for trying to lynch me. Rojo gets a little bit of a reprieve because I think he may have believed me a little at the end. I wasn't worried about WZ because I knew she'd be dead by the end of the day.
So is WZ still not on your s*** list? :p

I still think it was wrong and stupid to block me, and that if there was a wolf between Kcoughli and Rocky (the two most likely targets there) you would have given them a big boost by distracting everyone...

I got them once... I just asked them that # of ppl in the group with a convert... that was after I realized that a group went from 3 ppl (mj, wz, teep) to a group of 2 and 1. Had it been a group of 3 at that point, I think they would have been even more valuable and would have been end game, so I wonder if that change was intentional to prevent that question from being too powerful?

Hey I posted on thread that jilary had more things clearing her than some other people!

And I've had the business card twice now and have been so curious as to what it did!

Good game everyone, glad it ended up being WZ all along. I really just couldn't make it fit with everyone already being cleared. Honestly I thought the most likely wolf was me lol but I knew I wasn't one! And I'd have had to be playing incredibly smart long game to both protect and attack the same person.

nm, it was our lynch of STB that changed that group from 3 to 2... had we not killed STB we would have known earlier...

I'm not sure I understand your question? I didn't purposefully change any groups as far as I recall.

The little guys had a couple rules. They couldn't do the same action twice in a game, so would fail if asked - that's why someone's tracking failed near the end. If the question was too powerful they failed. If it was a pretty strong one like yours or the wolves asking to kill, I flipped a coin to see if it was successful or not, and made the results a little ambiguous if I could.

I like freeform abilities and items - I think they're really fun and reward creativity - but they're kind of tough to balance so I hope that seems fair.

Was the "setting up a kill" option that was proposed going to work off of the too strong, or was it crafted in such a way that it would have worked 100%?

With that said, I liked the item a lot and thought it was fair :)

I made it purposefully vaguer so that it would narrow things down, and ambiguous enough that we couldn't trust all the info, but it was a good starting point...

You guys made this game a fun one. Thanks to Trilt for being such a fun mod and throwing together a game for the addicts to get their fix.

yeah, I just miscounted who was in groups...

So is WZ still not on your s*** list? :p
Nah, she's not on my $hit list. I wasn't concerned about her because she was moments from dying. What happened today didn't matter because she was going to die anyway.

I still think it was wrong and stupid to block me, and that if there was a wolf between Kcoughli and Rocky (the two most likely targets there) you would have given them a big boost by distracting everyone...
Do you not get it that you throwing suspicion at me was exactly the same thing? You didn't try to lynch Kcough or Rocky today, and you didn't suggest that either of them be blocked. If Kcough or Rocky had been a wolf, there likely would have been a kill last night and you would have been in the clear. Of the people left, I had reason to not completely trust you, while I felt more comfortable with kcough since she protected DVMD.

I mean, that's fine. Just in this particular game - where I DID specifically say Chaos could win with either side:

...it cost you guys two cycles and like five non-wolf deaths. Obvs doesn't matter when you slaauughtterrr the original wolves the way you did, but it really wasn't the best strategic move in this instance.

How do you figure it cost us five non wolf deaths? We lynched two people as possible chaos, one being chaos. And chaos killed 3 or 4 villagers and had he been left in could have killed more. So I'm not sure where you are coming up with five villager deaths. Unless you are including the wolf kills at night which would have occurred anyway and you have to include the chaos kills. Killing chaos when they were indiscriminately killing villagers was a sound strategic move and I'd do it again.

I have to agree with this. Teep was a very happy surprise for wolves this game. Even if her intentions were for the most part good, and she wanted to do good by the villagers, his execution was poor (not anything against Teep, just he killed all villagers and no wolves), and it was the correct move for villagers to take him out

I had rocky protect DVMD that night, and if DVMD died then Rocky was my lynch vote... basically, she was going to keep protecting DVMD, and so if she was a wolf she was going to have to keep avoiding killing the most important person left in the game IMO or risk getting lynched... and I trusted her from that.

Kcoughli also had protected DVMD and so I really did trust her as a villager... that was too much of a gambit for a wolf to have done, so I believed her safe. If it wasn't WZ (which it turned out to be) I was pulling at straws and didn't want Rocky's protection blocked, so you were the only logical blocking choice there cause I didn't think we needed/should block WZ

Couldn't Rocky have just killed you in that instance if she was the wolf?

Thanks @Trilt for the game, it really was a fun one :D

Double thanks to @Flim Flam Man for resurrecting me. I was really bummed that i was basically missing out on this one when i died early so I appreciate it!

Also thanks to @Mad Jack for suspecting me when I was a villager and trusting me when I was a wolf. Wouldn't be WW for me without Team MadZoo shenanigans :D

Thanks to the wolves for converting me, and really, I mean that. I probably enjoy wolfing more than is healthy. Sorry we didn't get to wolf together very long.

And a big thanks to @SummerTheLynx for being the devil on my shoulder and cheering me on ;)

Now i have 5 hours to sleep before I have to get up and get ready to run a 10k...

And this doesn't just go for chaos. If there had been a villager assassin that had to act every x night that kept killing villagers, it'd be in best interest of the village to lynch them, thus reducing villager death at night.

That's quite honestly just because the villagers were so damn good at killing wolves, lol. Both LotF and PBC would have been on Teep's short list, it was just luck of the draw that he hit the two other sloths vs. LotF first. And if he had been caught in wolf crossfire vs. being lynched, he probably would have released his tracking list to the villagers:

SOV recording failed.
Aloha did nothing.
Hmoo blocked WZ.
You were blocked
WZ killed Caiter
Which also would have been in the villager favor. As I said, in this game it didn't matter. But just in the future, if I say Chaos can win with either side, I legit mean it. :p

And clearly I was not privy to the info on Rocky. So I chose to block someone I had doubts about. I don't regret it. I still think it was stupid to lynch someone who was more cleared than any of the other suspects.

And I am still with DVMD, especially if chaos can kill, I'm full in favor of getting rid of them.

That's fine! Just in this particular game with his particular win condition and my particular set up, it was a several day distraction (notice how enthusiastic WZ was about hunting down chaos) that didn't necessarily further the villager cause because he could have won with ya. That's all. :)

Your block of me was just so far out of left field and I wasn't sure of the little guys at that point and I had reason to believe everyone at that point (because everyone was a villager).... so in a round where there was no great choice, a person who had a lynch cancel was definitely a big risk, and i stand by my analysis that had i not had the ability to clear you and by the end really believed you, that you shouldn't have canceled the lynch as the numbers worked in the villagers favor still

BTW, these were my renditions of the dna chef, 2 for FFM because he changed his mind after I'd finished his first thought, but the second was worth it. lol

She could make up her ability each night, but part of the balance was that it was supposed to be fairly obvious that it was her action on the person each evening. She thought she was dead meat the moment Lupin mentioned being seered by someone telling bad jokes, but somehow never went down.

Thanks for the game @Trilt

What did the various beeps that galaxy made mean? If anything.
Your thoughts were going to Lupin, so the beeping was dependent on her status in the game. So sad when she was dead, confused if she died that night, cheerful if it was successful/she was alive, etc.

I just liked the idea that Rick had picked up a copy of the hitchhiker's guide at some point in his adventures. :D On lupin's end it was reported as a weird machine in her garage talking randomly.

It was brought up in the wolf chat, i think WZ caught it, but I may not be remembering correctly...
Yeah i realized the connection much earlier, thought she was a seer though. I brought it up when i was converted but again, had to worry about protection, finally thought it was kcough or rocky doing that but by then killing them would have seriously narrowed the pool of uncleared people.

In honor of the beginning game conversation
**** yeesssssss.

Actually on the beginning game thought, I think @Jamr0ckin should get a call out for being fabulously full of Christmas cheer. Made me so happy that you took that and ran with it. Sorry you got dead so quickly on your first game back.
