Me too Have you scheduled your interview yet? I will be there on March 4th. February 19th was open as well but it clashes with another interview I have. Congrats.

When were you guys complete if you don't mind?Yup! I took the February 19th position so feel free to ask me any questions once it's all over. Oh, and congrats to you, too!

No problem - I was complete 10/7.

Stats/LizzyM?II this afternoon. Scheduled for 2/19. Complete 11/18.
Yeah. Feedback on this would be awesome.Does anyone know what your odds are for acceptance if you get an interview?
Stats/LizzyM?
most definitely worth a shot. Admission staff are really easy to work with! plus it is a very large interview group so cancellations are not uncommon (I have been in your boat)Has anyone done an "in the area" call to switch their interview date or know if they are receptive to it?
no, however, you really really really need to be a good fit for this program. It is one of those deal breaker schools where you can be perfect in every aspect, but if you are not a fit, then they will not accept you.Does anyone know what your odds are for acceptance if you get an interview?
Everyone who interviews at SOMA signs a non disclosure agreement regarding the interview day. Just be confident, be yourself, and you will probably be fine. Can someone shed some light on what the speed dating and the group project is like? I assume the group project will mean we are presented with a problem and asked to come up with a solution. For speed dating, do you just come into a room and talk for a ten minutes? Or is there like a question to be answered?
Oh, I didn't know that! Thanks!Everyone who interviews at SOMA signs a non disclosure agreement regarding the interview day. Just be confident, be yourself, and you will probably be fine.
I wanted to go to the Grand Canyon, but it's actually 4 hours away...hey! interviewing here next friday, really excited!!! My flight out doesn't leave until 11:30pm after the interview and was looking into different things to check out in the mesa/phoenix area-anyone have any suggestions? It'll be my first time out west!!
Is anyone going there for interview from California? If so, will you drive or fly there? Congrats for all having one advanced step!

what are you interested in? hiking is always great! my favorite is to just wander around the Papago mountains, which are just across the street from the zoo and the botanical gardens. If you're more interested in bars or restaurants, I can help with suggestions on that toohey! interviewing here next friday, really excited!!! So who else is going for the interview this Friday?
Just wondering, where are some of you guys staying?
(Trying is find a relatively cheap, but good place.)
Oh, and is anybody coming from the east coast?
Mid December for me, got rejected by KCOM in July so didn't bother with SOMA until December. II on 1/5, initially on 3/4, but I JUST found a spot open on 2/5 so snagged it and moved up by a month.

PMed.I'm interviewing on Friday. I'll be staying at Best Western Plus Mesa. It was $67/night. If you want cheaper, I also saw Econo Lodge but it is a little further away.

My sister just got this as well. What does it mean? lol the e-mail is definitely not a standard II e-mail, which you get from admissions...
I'm interviewing on 02/05 as well!
I'm interviewing this Friday as well! I'm staying at an AirBNB for $50. You may not be into that, but it's worked well for me in the past and can be fairly cheap. I appreciate meeting some locals and getting to hear about the city too.So who else is going for the interview this Friday?

Okay I'll call you baby Arnold at our social and/or interview then, lol.
Oh, I didn't know that! Thanks!
Definitely! I wasn't planning on going to the social, but I just might. What time is it at?

If I had to guess (and this is totally a guess, take it with a grain of salt) they accept 1/3 outright, waitlist 1/3, and reject 1/3 from each respective interview date
I got alternate listed. So did two of my friends. I haven't met anyone that outright got accepted to date.First paragraph I agree. Second one is kinda.... Interviews have been running for quite a few months now, someone mentioned the pools have been huge yet SOMA accepts only 108 M1's. I definitely hope at this stage we aren't just interviewing to get on the wait list.
Just to note, they do have an option where you are accepted pending an open seat. For example, I interviewed in April but the program was full at that point. I could have waited out to see if a seat would open up but instead I chose to defer my acceptance to the next cycle and used my year off to save money.First paragraph I agree. Second one is kinda.... I called them the day after I got accepted and simply asked them if I could defer my acceptance until the next year. It didn't have to do with site selection for me; I had signed a new lease before I got the interview invite and didn't want to break it. They were totally fine with it.If you don't mind me asking, how long was it after your interview in April to get that deferral option?
Anyone else interviewing next friday on 2/5? I'm coming from from out of town and I'm wondering if anyone has advice on how to interview here on a budget. I'm flying into phoenix sky harbor airport earlier that week and I'm trying to avoid renting a car, if possible.
Is it possible to get from sky harbor airport to the school area in mesa by public transportation? Anyone here have experience with the T&T shuttle?
