does anyone know what the point of the CME credits on your AAFP account?

We have an AAFP account and an ABFM account - are the credits from each of these accounts exclusive/different?

To maintain membership in the AAFP after residency, you must have 150 hours of CME every 3 years. That's the point of the AAFP.

You have to have the same number of hours every 3 years for the ABFM. If you use the AAFP to keep track of CME hours, it will automatically tell the ABFM what you've done so if you manage one you'll be good for the other.

The only difference between the 2 is that the AAFP requires that 25 of those 150 hours be live credits.
