Additional Info Section on Secondaries?

Do all secondaries have a space to put additional information?

I ask because I will be doing a service trip abroad during Primary AAMCAS season, and would like to update schools about my trip after I'm back in early July.

Is there a better way of doing this? Thank you

No, not all. I saw it on ~25% on my secondaries (of 29 total).
Though if you'll be submitting AMCAS after you leave, you could add it in. Activities can have future end dates, just not future start dates.

^are we also expected to extrapolate overall time commitment (not just hours until time of application)?

You can break up times by dates, i.e. specify from "last year to now" = x hours & "now to future end date"= y hours. So you can extrapolate, but still be honest, and they'll see which is future speculation and which is factual past.
