Hey guys. I am an M2 and I have been asked by an old professor from my undergrad school to come give a speech to some premedical students about what medical school is like, tips on admissions, and general things like that. Since you are all still in the thick of it, what kind of questions would you want answered in a speech like this?

Tips on Admission:

1) What activities will med schools be looking for?
2) What GPA is competitive and what if I got some poor grades as a freshman?
3) How do I get supportive LORs?
4) What kind of research should I get involved in?
5) Do I have to volunteer?
6) How to I find a doctor to shadow?
7) How do I find a lab to work in?
8) How do I prepare for interviews?
9) What is the best way to prepare for the MCAT?
10) How many schools should I apply to?
11) What is the difference between MD and DO schools?
12) What is a "Top School" and what are they looking for in applicants?
