Advice on MCAT date. Should I postpone to January?

Advice needed. I am a nontrad student (8 yrs out of college). I took a kaplan course over the summer but I'm only scoring between 22-24 on kaplan practice test. Is it realistic to think I can up this to get a 30 on real deal by Oct 25? Or should I postpone til January and study with BR using the 3 month study guide?

I would postpone it if you can't have a month entirely to focus on the MCAT. Invest time into getting a good score so you don't have to retake.
