Can someone point me to a reliable section (with minimal bias) that can outline the pro's and cons of the ACA without having to read that massive legislation itself. I got asked this during a mock today and while I gave an acceptable answer, I think I would be able to come across speaking strongerwith a more solid foundation

Thanks in advance,

Kiwi

I've been trying to find the exact same thing... finding a non-/minimally-biased source is almost impossible. >>

I would go to Affordable Care Act website too. Of course there is bias there but I think it's silly to not at least look at the source and only read second or third hand information. The timeline part provides a snapshot of at least what the government is choosing to promote.

Edited since the original link I posted (http://obamacarefacts.com/obamacare-pros-and-cons.php) was definitely not the source. Although I'm curious to read through this site as they "claim" to be unbiased.

factcheck.org usually has unbiased information regarding political quarrels. I don't know how extensive their information on the ACA is though. Alternatively you can look up a FAQs about the ACA on senate.org; however, democrats and republicans have each released their own version of the FAQs which basically means don't believe anything from either of them. Another good source (imo) is the NCPA. The link is a shortened pamphlet of the ACA. The only downside to the NCPA description is it is a bit dated (2010) - so I'm not sure what has changed since its release.
