On AMCAS can we include jobs/volunteering that we are set to do during the summer of applying that we haven't yet started? And if so, should we just describe what we anticipate/know the job will entail?

I have this same question. I am planning to volunteer in India and Brazil in January and February of 2007. I want to include these plans because it will strengthen my application. Will med schools not like this unless it is 100% confirmed or is it ok if I am pretty sure that I will be doing this but not 100% certain. Should I just say in the description that this is a plan? Thanks.

For the activities section you physically cannot enter in an activity with a start date that is in a month later than the month you want to submit it. If you try it, you'll just get an error.

You can update new activities to your schools after you submit AMCAS.
