I am starting the first day at my new job as a medical assistant on June 1st. I am preparing to submit my AMCAS on June 2nd. Should I list this new, clinically relevant job on my AMCAS or leave it for update-letter material?

Pros for listing it on my AMCAS: Might be taken into account when making interview invite decisions
Cons: I won't know much about what my job duties will be specifically, so I won't be able to speak to them...

Perhaps wait a week to get a better feel for what you'll be doing. As long as you submit in June for the most part, you're early. About half the secondaries I've looked at have no place to mention new activities, so it may be beneficial to list it.
