An F and getting Air Force HPSP

I have been accepted into dental school and have an F on my transcript. My GPA is 3.6 with 19AA. For those who had an F on their transcripts and has gotten an Air Force HPSP, were you denied a scholarship?

I believe as long as you get into a dental school they will cover you with a scholarship. But you can also try retaking the class if it bothers you that much.
