I've got 2 weeks.

what should I be asking? what do I need to know?

thoughts? I know it doesn't even come close to replacing anesthesiology residency..but I only have 2 weeks to cram in the essentials!

thanks. would really appreciate any productive advice!

Get really really comfortable effectively mask ventilating (wasn't as easy as I thought). Hopefully you'll never need it, but could really save a life if badness happens. Intubating is nice, but I think learning effective bagging much more practical w the limited training in airways we have. Also get as many IVs as possible (you have a mandatory AGCME amt of bagging, intubating and IVs necessary).

If you do any regional, extra exposure to US guided blocks and blind epidurals, especially thoracic, is nice but not necessary. You'll be wishing you had fluoro if/when you do a thoracic blindly!
