Answering the question: "What year(s) did you previously apply?"

I applied last year and am reapplying this year. Should I enter the year I completed my application (2014) or the cycle year that I had planned to matriculate into (2015)?

I think either is fine as long as you specify. I ran into a similar concern with my application this year and stated that I was an original applicant during the 2012 application cycle. Stating that I was an applicant for the entering class of 2013 was also an option, however I believe I stuck with the former universally.
