Any advice for dental students entering the clinic (last 2 years of school)?

I was just wondering if anyone could give some advice on making a successful transition from pre-clinic to clinic. So far my experiences in clinic haven't been the greatest. It seems extremely unorganized, chaotic and very stressful. Any tips on making my last 2 years of school, largely spent treating patients, go by smoothly? I've heard the last 2 years of school are alot easier than the first 2, is there any truth to this? Or is it just a different kind of stress? Btw, my school is competency based. Thanks.
