Is there any disadvantage if pharmacy student is on controlled substance?
I have an official diagnosis from a specialist and take prescribed C II medication.
I am afraid if there is unofficial disadvantage for students like me.
CVS specifically asked if I was taking any controlled substance when I was filling out online application..
I am required to submit drug screen results to hospitals that I am applying to.
I am legally taking this medication with a proper diagnosis but it makes me feel vulnerable..
Is there any disadvantage in terms of getting internship, or PGY programs, or jobs in the future?

No

No. No. No.

Drug screens account for therapeutic use of scheduled meds- if you can demonstrate that you have a valid prescription for a legit diagnosis, it won't be reported as a positive test.

As long as you aren't using medical marijuana, you will be fine.
