i graduated from college 6yrs ago as a double major in Acctg and Comp Science. GPA was 3.94.

I am still deciding on premed program, but in the mean time I wanted to ask what difference my GPA makes, considering its from a very little known, somewhat low standards, (4yr) college

Do you think I stand any chance (provided i have excellent MCAT and postbacc grades) at being accepted in a top 20 school (hMS for example!)

I would qualify Lukkie's "yes" by pointing out that you are unlikely to get into Harvard without several years of substantive research among your extracurriculars. An excellent MCAT score is the great equalizer among American med schools. It helps demonstrate, along with a good GPA, that you understood the material.
