Plenty of threads on this topic Especially last year Bottom line: Yes they do It's rare, but possible I'm EM , was fortunate enough to got into an acgme program You need to apply early and wide. You may have an issue with ABMS boards. ABPMR used to let non pmr drs sit for the pain exam, but they won't allow it starting next year I believe. Good luck
