General Admissions & OTCAS Anyone Applied to University of Kansas Occupational therapy Program?

Good Evening! I wanted to know if anyone is applying to University of Kansas Occupational Therapy School? I just wondering if I should apply because my gpa is not a 3.8? I've spoken to an admission counselor and she said " not all 4.0 students make a great occupational therapist." "So we look at the whole application." I believe admission counselors tell me this but they reject applicants who have a 3.6.....The only advantage I have is....over 2,000 hours with a special needs child. I have 63 hours of observation hours....Mostly A's and B's in my classes they require. Should I apply or not?
