This year I'm taking AP US Hisotry. The teacher told us the first day of school pretty much all of us would fail the first couple quizzes and tests just because we aren't used to the depth of thinking we have to use in order to answer the questions and most of the questions have multiple right answers. Well as predicted I failed my first two quizzes with a 40 and 58 then on my test I made a 50. Thankfully the tests and quizzes are only 30% of our grade and homework is 40% with all off the homework my average so far is a 79.21, and of we have an 80 or above at the end of the quarter we get six points added to our grade. Lets just say that is not where I want it to be! All of my other classes I have A's in so for me this is just not good enough. Right now I read the pages assigned to us each night and take notes on that, then during the class I take notes on what the teacher says and writes on the board. The night before each quiz and test i read over my notes and skim the chapters again. Obviously this isn't doing me well. We were informed that things that are on our quizzes and tests aren't always out of our reading or class discussions. So what are some more effective ways I can prepare for the tests and quizzes?
