Greetings all, I have a quick question. I will be finishing my premed requisites this summer of 2016 in which afterwards I plan to take my MCAT for the first time. I wish to apply to medical schools for the following year, if I get in I would like to start in the fall semester of 2017.

My question is this, should I take the MCATs and then apply to the schools or should I apply and then apply to the schools?

Apply after MCAT to be safe

Apply before MCAT if you know for sure you'll do well, you wont get sick on MCAT day, etc (other parts of your application is stellar and you are a top student)

In order to matriculate in Fall 2017, you will have to apply starting in the summer of 2016. You need to have an MCAT score before your AMCAS application will be sent to schools, so I would recommend taking the MCAT by late spring or early summer 2016.
