Army HPSP - Time to first payment from time of commission?

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I commissioned last week and was wondering how long it has generally taken people to get paid.

One person has told me as long as 8 weeks. Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

Usually 6-8 weeks. If you commissioned late (and I assume you have already started school) it may be sooner or later, can't really say. I commissioned in April prior to school starting and didn't get paid until mid-September.
