AT pay for conferences as mdssp student?

I was speaking with my commander and they told me they thought I could get use my alloted 14 days of active training time for conferences since I won't be doing BOLC this summer. My commander is a PA and just wasn't sure what the rules are for mdssp students. They are more than ok with it but said I'd have to get it cleared though the training nco...

does anyone have any knowledge/experience in this realm?

Good luck. The Services are extremely tight with funding conferences these days. Essentially it requires Secretary level approval for attendance at conferences on funded orders. You can try as it's possible the conference is already on one of the "approved lists" but don't be surprised if you get turned down.

Apparently it's a cme process only for licensed providers
