Available PGY1/PGY2 positions?

Hey Everyone,

does anyone know about psych programs with available PGY1 or 2 slots?? I am looking to change specialties, and trying to find psych program with available positions.

Lots of places have them, as psych is one of the most switched-into specialties. For sure both my med-school and residency institutions have them. Probably your best approach would be to compile a list of programs you like and then ask each one individually if they have PGY2 slots. Yes is more likely than no.

The University of Arizona/UPH GME consortium program in Tucson is a newly approved program and is currently interviewing for PGY-1 and PGY-2 positions.

The Resident Swap site has several pgy1 and pgy2 psych openings. I remember seeing Hartford and UMass there.

Thanks guys!!! I appreciate the suggestions. I already have emailed a bunch of programs, but with MINIMAL responses. Maybe b/c of the holidays?? I'm still in the process of contacting various programs. Anyway, if anyone knows of positions in their respective programs, pls IM me.
