Hey, a lot of people seem to be wanting this info... so here it is...

MOST of this is 2003 updated USNews info. However, the schools with an * next to them did not fill out the USnews survey, so I had to use the Princeton Review book to get the info.

This took me HOURS to complete... I had to look up each school individually to get the MCAT break downs so you guys BETTER USE IT! Just kidding! But I do hope it's helpfull :)

P.S. I didn't include Puerto Rican, Carribean, or D.O. schools... if you want that info just PM me.

Prime,
Couldya post this instead in the other thread that I started about the Questions? Let's try and keep it all organized. :)

Thanks so much! You're awesome for doing this.

Tweetie... I'm going to try to put this on my website in a more readable form. Once I do that, I'll put a link to it on your thread. Ok? I'm just putting this here as a back up :)

dave•••••Like 5 hours! Just so you don't think I'm a total looser with nothing better to do, let me explain. At my work, I have to learn how to play with database access from an interactive website, so I needed to make "demo" database to play with. I figured, why not make it a usefull database!? Of course, the database I needed only had to have 80 entries, and this has more like 600... but oh well! :)

RP, it's awesome that you did this!

However, I question the reliability of that Princeton Review Book...the stats for Finch were either really old or just off :( I posted the real, recent stats from the school itself in Tweetie's thread :)

I used a Baron's book last year to supplement the MSAR and USNews, but I know that info wasn't accurate either...some of it was from 1997!

In any case, you rock! :D

Foxy: Yeah I know... but there was nothing else I could put :( unless I wanted to go to each medical school's website and try to find them... which I wasn't about to do. Fortunately most of the schools filled out the US News survey.

Hey if anyone has updated info on the *-ed schools, just let me know and I'll make changes. :)

Finch/CMS' 2001-02 stats are:

GPA: 3.41
SGPA: 3.34
MCAT:
VR: 9.08
PS: 10.13
WS:p BS:
10.36

That is from a handout info sheet they give to applicants :)

Muchas gracias relatively prime :D

I put in the stats you gave for Finch. Thanks :)

i think that's the first time i've seen mcat stats for loma linda. many thanks and   to 16 & 33 for doing this. did you get most of the info from the paid usnews service? if so, i'll paypal you with a compensation.

FYI: 16 & 33 are relatively prime :)

[sheepishly] you've already done so much for us, but did you include UCI or am I just blind? thanks.

For all the schools that don't have *'s I got the info from US News (the paid service). Don't worry about it, it was really cheap and well worth whatever they charged me. Maybe it was like $8 I don't remember... but it was really cheap. I would suggest you all buy access. They have great, in-depth info on a LOT of schools.

UCI?! How could I have missed that one!? It's there now... check it out! Sorry about that :) Let me know if you notice anything else missing!

•••••My FYI wasn't for you, RP. It was for the other majors out there that don't like math :(
I don't know why. Math is fun!

Ah, thanks for making this.

Some of the averages are so low.... This scares me.

Wow, interesting information! Thanks for putting the list together relative prime.
