best state for PTs

For a Physical Therapist point of view, in terms of salary, cost of living, property prices etc, which is the best state to settle down for a PT?...any experiences/inputs will be appreciated.thanks a lot.

From what I know things vary more depending on demand. If you have any states in particular you are looking to live in, I would look at the difference between salaries in cities/suburbs/rural areas. Texas, Florida, Nevada, S. Dakota, Washington state, and Wyoming there is no state income tax, so you will get more of you paycheck in your pocket. Also, depending on where you live the highest salary might not be the most money depending on cost of living and such. Take a look at this website:
