I have three weeks til mine start, is there something I should do to be prepared? Should I read a book, should I practice H and P's?

or should I just do nothing and relax

thanks

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to go through H&P stuff beforehand, but I would suggest relaxing and spending time doing things totally unrelated to school. Free time will soon be in short supply, and it's nice to recharge before tackling rotations. :)

How does one practice H&P's while not on rotation?

I would just enjoy the time you have off. No matter what you read or practice, you are going to feel dumb at least once when you first start rotations. It's one of those things that's inevitable ;)

Hi

Take some time to relax. Make sure you know very standard stuff, like H&P and how to interpret standard labs, including Radiology.
