I probably sign somewhere around 200 home health orders a month for my patients. I've recently heard that I can bill for this. Is this true (and not go to jail for mcare fraud)?

I use codes G0179 and G0180. But they have to be re-certifications or new certifications. I keep track of who I sign / date / diagnosis codes, then send it to my coder / biller at the end of the month and they take care of submitting the fees. If you're doing 200 per month, that can add up to quite a few RVUs you're leaving on the table. By my calculation, could be worth at least 90 RVUs.
