Hi all,

I've completed all the pre-reqs (including both semesters of orgo) as a post-bacc at a local 4-year with a 4.0. I plan to take biochem this fall as prep for the MCAT in the following spring but can only take it at a local CC due to schedule restrictions.

Will this hurt me? I've met the requirements of most of the med schools I plan to apply to with the second semester of orgo and otherwise am in good academic standing (undergrad was ~3.4, closer to 3.5 when combined with post-bacc).

Thanks!

It shouldn't hurt you as long as a particular college you are interested in attending doesn't frown on and require it.Some CC's are know for being week academically, so you may find it to be less help than hoped for the mcat or it may be perfect.

Good luck
