I'm not sure I totally understand what's going on with this, but I'm signed up. Best I can figure, they'll present a health care challenge (for example, how do we reduce the cost of MRIs) and the participants have 28 hours to come up with working prototypes of solutions.
I read about something similar in Drive; a company called Atlassian holds FedEx Days that are meant to stimulate innovation. I'm intrigued by the idea and I'm excited to see how it works in real life.
Has anyone heard of or participated in something like this? Anyone from Mke/Chicago interested in participating? Thoughts on the concept in general?
