c3.09 gpa, s3.0 gpa, Post-bac 3.5 gpa chances?

Hey I am applying to medical school for the second round this time

I have undergrad degree in biochem
undergraduate gpa 3.09
science gpa 3.0
I completed a postbac at Drexel with 3.5 gpa
MCAT: 34 p: 11, v:11, b:12
CT resident
Research +1000 Hrs
Volunteer/Clinical +400 Hrs
Shadowing: 100 hrs+
Extracurricular/Leadership +300 Hrs

Waitlisted at Drexel Last Cycle.
Currently, im working in a internal medicine/pulmonary research laboratory with two publication coming out.

I know my GPA is pretty low, but what schools do you think i should gear towards, i am applying to DO schools.

A 3.5 in a post-bacc is still not doing a ton to convince ADCOMs you can handle med school rigor convincingly, particularly when coupled with that GPA. If that's your upward trend, it's not a convincing one.

Best bet is to apply to state schools, Drexel and a variety of DO's with an emphasis on the new ones. I do think you can be alright for DO's with a good list(note more than 7 schools think at least twice that), what is your GPA now with that post-bacc work? Unless it's above a 3.3 I hesitate to recommend many MD's.
