MD CA Resident, cGPA 3.67, post-bacc 3.97, 33 MCAT

I am posting for my friend who is starting to freak out (I think way too prematurely) because she has gotten rejected at Mayo and VCU. She has finished secondaries at nearly all of these schools already, but just added Medical College of Wisconsin and Temple today (primaries).

She did a post-bacc for her pre-reqs and got nearly straight A's, making her science gpa 3.71.

-Hundreds (thousands?) of hours working at an ophthalmologist office (doing front desk and rooming patients)
-A few hundred hours volunteering at a hospital in the emergency department
-About 100 hours volunteering at a local humane society.

If so, I see 11 schools where she has a fair to good chance at an interview and a bunch where she has almost none. Usually 12 is a good number to shoot for, so she should be ok.
