CALLING ALL MALE SLP's!

What is life like for you as a male SLP? How do patients, and other people see you in the profession? Do adolescents respect male SLP's? Autistic children? Just curious since women dominate the profession, and tend to have a "tender touch" to their clients. Not to say that males have a "tender touch" as well, but males can have a different perceived demeanor.

im a male, i will be starting grad school in the fall, life as a male slp is not bad at all, the money is very good, the ratio of time in school to
salary/ hourly is very good too, there are many opportunities in the medical aspect of slp, I would encourage you to do it
