Can I get a list of student Oriented textbooks for each clinical rotation?

hey so I already know about the usual study resources for each rotation: case files, pestana, step up to med, etc. However, can someone please tell me which "STUDENT ORIENTED" textbooks to use for each rotation? For example for surgery, there is "essentials of general surgery by lawrence" which is only around 600 pages, as opposed to the other surgery books that are 2,000 pages. Thanks
