Does anyone know? I received an NIH fellowship to do research in Africa for two months this summer and was wondering if I could have that count as my practicum experience (it's public health related to the max). I'm thinking about going to emory this fall and will definitely ask an advisor about this but I just wanted to know if anyone already knew the answer.

I am almost certain every school would say no because you're not getting your experience approved by the practicum office (even though it probably would) and you're not an enrolled student. Most times, a class or experience taken before enrollment will be waived, but you'll need to make the credits up with another class or experience.
