can you use scrap paper and a pencil on the pcat ?

i am taking the pcat on October 6 for the first time and i know it is a computerized exam. but my question is can i use pencil , scrap paper to do some of the math problems. also a friend of mine told me that they will give you a small calculator for the simple math work. is that true ?

False. No calculator... they will provide an erasable note pad and pen.
