Hey guys!

I bought the MSAR but I am still quite confused about some things. Are Canadians considered OOS or internationals?

Another question I have is that the average GPA for matriculants for X school would be 3.7, just for the sake of an example, would a Canadian have to have a 3.8, or a 3.7 to make them competitive, as most MD schools prefer IS applicants. Would the same concept also apply to the MCAT?

Sorry if I don't really make sense haha, I am just kind of lost and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Canadians would be considered international for US medical schools.

There are no set stats that make you competitive. But your entire application definitely needs to shine compared to the average accepted student.
