I was wondering whether incoming D1 Canadian students usually move to the US in July or August (my school starts in late August). If you had moved (or will move) in July, did (will) you have to come back to Canada and go to your bank branch in August to provide the bank an enrollment letter and sign your agreement?

Thank you so much for any input. Thank you!

You really don't need that much time before you start.... I went the weekend before orientation started... Had all my furniture set up within a few days (it was a small apartment anyways).

I was able to sign the LoC paperwork with an acceptance letter and provided them proof with my tuition statement which came about a month before school started... The bank gave me $150k total LoC but capped the amount I could take out each year to about $60k or something. Each subsequent year I would have to send them a new tuition statement or academic timetable.
