I agree with nstemi and dab. Majority of people are reluctant to post their interview dates since it might give away who they are to those in the know. I would rather have a list with programs and who's interviewing where. In that case:

programs interviewing
:

baylor (houston): tius, nstemi, cards2012, amplatz, yayarea
boston university: nstemi
cleveland clinic: commotio cordis
florida: tius, metoprolol
mass general: cards2012
penn state: boyz of 4d
texas heart: dabigatran, cards2012, nstemi, amplatz, yayarea
vermont: nstemi, amplatz, wtf99

programs rejecting
:

arizona
east carolina
michigan
northwestern

What does it mean if other people have heard back from programs but I am still waiting? Should I email to check the status of my application?

No. Just hold tight. They're probably still finalizing their decisions. Give it at least a couple more weeks.

Kick starting the season with two rejections, hartford hospital (snail mail) & university of Michigan........what a day?

Hi! I am a new member. How is the cards fellowship in Methodist hospital, Houston rated?

Its a brand new program. so nobody knows how it will turn out.

Methodist is a private hospital with the pros and cons of a very well run private hospital.

The attendings are very well qualified but in the end nobody knows how much time they will provide for training of the fellows.

Lastly, they dont have a county or a VA hospital. Its upto you what your preferences are.

People's opinion might differ but I would not contact the program co-ordinator unless I have something substantial to inform them..

i wouldn't worry too much yet. very few programs have given out interviews thus far. looking at last year's posts makes it seems like the majority of interviews come starting in february all the way through march.

Don't freak out. It's still early. You've yet to hear from ~80 programs and it's only mid January. Breathe, my friend.

For those of you who are getting mutiple invites.. my heart felt congratulations. Clearly you will get more than 10 calls in the season and I seriously doubt you will interview in all of them. My request to you is that please let programs know as early as possible about your intentions to interview , so that the rest of us can get some share of the pie .

Dude..... I'm in a similar situation.... FMG/ though on H1, expecting immigrant visa/ community program with inhouse fellowships/ good scores/good LORS/ 7 publications/ in PGY3/ applied to 80 programs... so far only rejections:( I have some hopes of getting 1-2 interviews atleast, but it won't be enough to get through match! Why bother for those 1-2 interviews?? So, lets relax and have second plans!

So far invites from
Uni of Az and Iowa
Did anyone get mail form NYU early last week asking for the track that you are interested in?

So I got invitation email through ERAS from Kaiser LA today and 3 hours after that I received the generic rejection letter from the same institution . What does this mean? which one you guys think I should believe? perhaps program coordinator can help.

Well, that's an unfortunate clerical error and I apologize to you on their behalf. No doubt they (will) feel horribly about it. I recommend that you call/email the coordinator explaining that you'd received both and kindly ask for clarification.

:luck:
