My opinion is that you should wait at least another week before contacting programs you haven't yet heard from that you know have already sent out invitations AND dismissals. Most programs inform candidates what's going on, but some don't. It's still early, though. Invitations will go out through next month. West coast programs typically extend invites even later.

Hey everyone! First post on the forum. . just wanted to offer some empathy for oscillation. Rejection feels so horrible :( hang in there!
 
I think everyone is scared. Somehow this process is more frightening than all the other hurdles. I think it's because after at least 27.5 years of life you're at the last hurdle before you learn cardiology.

This is really the scariest hurdle so far, and because numbers get increasingly small, things out of our control become more and more important.

I hope we look back on this and laugh some day.

Did not hear from VCU yet, but UVA sent me invites more than 3 weeks ago...
