Cardiology as an intern

Cardiology is my first rotation as an intern. I had trouble finding threads that provided advice as far as what books to read during my rotation, tips on consultations, or other general advice for the rotation. Please direct me towards the thread if I missed it. Thank you in advance

I always liked the Washington Manual Consult series. The cardiology one is a pretty good primer for general cardiology consult.
 
I don't know what other people did, but I'll tell you what I did that worked really well - I would go to the ACC website (www.acc.org), then review the guidelines for management of whatever my patients were admitted for. From there, I would focus on key articles that were referenced in the guidelines. It must have worked fairly well - got very good reviews/comments from my attendings.
