So I guess the rank list was due 14 minutes ago...


So where are some of you guys ranking? Anyone hear from programs after interviewing with them? What programs did you guys like most? How many programs did you guys apply to? ETC.

Rank list in. I applied to 7, got 5 interviews, went to 4. Geography may dictate how many places you can apply to. If you are on the eastern seaboard, it will be much cheaper and easier to interview at many places. My schedule and finances only permitted limited traveling, so I had to be judicious. Most people at my home program interviewed at 3-5 places. I met several folks on the interview trail who interviewed at 8 however. Some programs like to take internal candidates outside the match, what fraction of a given class comes from internal candidates is an important factor to determine.
